The Chorltonville Levy

Since the roads etc. are not adopted by the City Council, each houseowner is required to contribute to the cost of the upkeep of Chorltonville by paying an annual levy. The levy is set by the owners at the AGM, usually held in February, and is payable by March 31 each year. Payments can be accepted by cheque, cash or (preferably) by direct debit.

The Chorltonville levy for the current year, is set at £325. Residents who are not paying by direct debit are requested to make payment to the Treasurer as soon as possible.

The levy pays for:

• Repairing and resurfacing our roads & footpaths
• Placing bollards and building up kerbs
• Repair and replacing of gullies
• Our active tree management programme
• Mowing & repair of the grass verges
• Legal costs around running Chorltonville
• Publicity to the residents
